UNDESIRED / SIDE EFFECTS
Because of the mechanism of action of NSAIDs (inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis), gastrointestinal irritation or ulceration or renal intolerance may occur even after proper use.
Intramuscular injections can sometimes cause temporary irritation.
Repeated administration to swine may result in reversible anorexia.
Allergic reactions may occur very rarely. In this case, treatment should be stopped.
DRUG INTERACTIONS
It should not be used concomitantly with other NSAIDs, and if an NSAID is administered apply the product after 24 hours. Concurrent administration of diuretics, nephrotoxic drugs and anticoagulant drugs should be avoided .
Ketoprofen is highly bound to plasma proteins and can be replaced or replaced by other highly protein bound drugs such as anticoagulants, which may be due to toxic effects due to the free part of the drug .
